The Oxford County Pet Rescue’s Online Christmas Auction will close at 4: 00 p. m. this Saturday and they have 91 items up for grabs.

OXFORD COUNTY – The holidays are fast approaching, so lots of people are scrambling to find the perfect gifts with regard to their loved ones.

Anna Holmes, the Rescue Director and Foster Coordinator for the Oxford County Animal Save, would like to remind everyone that pets are not Christmas presents.

“These guys are usually forever commitments. These are heartbeats that will live on for many years and they are not gifts. I have had a few people in the last week or so asking if they can adopt on Xmas Eve so they can surprise a loved one and I possess told them no . Pets are long-term commitments. ”

The Animal Rescue is currently hosting its On the internet Christmas Public sale, which is the particular largest virtual fundraiser for the local charity. They have got 91 products up for grabs including pet treats, kids toys, wine packages, plus more. The auction launched on November 19th and it will close on Saturday December 10th at 4: 00 p. m. Holmes also has a holiday reminder regarding all of the pet owners out there.  

“There are usually some things that are a little bit toxic to our cats and dogs that you might find under the Christmas tree or even on the table. Poinsettias are not great, watch out for mistletoe, and if you wrap the box of chocolates and put it under your tree your own dog will find them. inch
